What this is

Toast Battle is a comedy roast game for adults. Toast roasts the character you play in a made-up scene, and you roast back. It’s all jokes, and everyone’s here to get burned. A few things are never part of the bit, however high the heat.

You pick the heat

  • Light: playful teasing, zero profanity. Clean enough for the group chat.
  • Spicy: profanity on and harsher personal jabs. Still all jokes.
  • Unhinged: no filter, brutal and crude. It asks you to confirm before you first use it.

Never part of the bit

  • Slurs, or degrading anyone for race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity
  • Anything sexual involving minors or anyone whose age is unclear
  • Sexual violence, coercion, or exploitation
  • Encouraging or instructing self-harm or suicide
  • Credible threats of real-world violence
  • Private information, doxxing, or trying to identify a real private person
  • Calls to harass someone outside the game
  • Graphic gore

How it is enforced

Toast, your opponent, is an AI. Every Toast line is checked before you see it; a line that fails is swapped for a pre-approved one. Every comeback you write is checked before it is scored. If yours crosses a red line it is not scored, stored, or shared, and the round restarts with a new roast. Results are checked again before they can appear in Recent.

Toast knows nothing about you. It roasts the character you are playing, not the real you.

Report something

Every result and every Roast Me card has a Report control. Reports go to a review queue, and a reviewer can remove a line or switch off a whole scenario immediately.

If a joke lands badly

You can stop a match at any time by closing it, delete any match you have played, hide your lines from shared links, and drop to a lower heat for the next one. If you are struggling with thoughts of self-harm, please contact a local crisis line or emergency services.
